Can we paddle anywhere?
In the UK, you need a license to paddle in most of
the waterways, rivers, lakes, etc.
BCU membership (Canoe
England, Canoe
Wales, Scotland Canoe Association and the Canoe Association
of Northern Ireland) includes a license to paddle
on 5000km of Britain's waterways and canals.
Not all inland water is open to canoeists, some are
privately owned or is bounded by land which is private,
so do check beforehand. See Useful

Ordering
from this site
E-commerce

is via direct deposit into
bank account or
via PayPal (subject to 3.4% fee). Do email us and request a quote
/ invoice or any questions etc, and we will provide all the details
you need. Prices on the website include VAT, requested quotes
will reflect price to pay, depending on the country the order
is being
sent to. In the event that the kayak / canoe that you require is
not in stock, then the option will be a down payment of at least
50% to place the order.
However, we
prefer a discussion first between you and ourselves to make sure
that you purchase what you really need - a boat that meets you
needs
so
we will cover as much as we can to help narrow down the best selections
etc.
We
use the various brands official 2016 recommended retail
price lists so our prices should be the same or less compared
to the
respective factories - never more.
Should you see or be quoted items that you want that can
be supplied for cheaper to you in the UK, do let us know
asap.*
Kayaks / accessories can also be placed on eBay UK on request (as a 'Buy Now')
- if you prefer to purchase that way (eBay / Paypal fees will be added to the
selling price). When we have 'stock on hand', we may list those kayaks on eBay.
Discounts are available if ordering more than one kayak with delivery to the
same address. See Package Deals or contact us for details. Discount codes have
also been advertised in various media - be sure to quote them when you contact
us. Only one discount code can be applied to an order.
Depending on the model of boat and season, delivery ranges between 3-8 weeks
after
receipt
of order. The sooner you order, the better!
* This excludes other items that we sell (or will sell) on this site where
we do not have exclusivity - EG books, maps, and non-Wayland accessories (Stack
trucks, Paddles, Buoyancy aids, dry bags, etc).
